Dr. Chris Kusek (LinkedIn) began his teaching career in the Olathe School District in 2009 and is currently the Director of Orchestras at Chisholm Trail Middle School in Olathe, KS, where he teaches daily sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students the violin, viola, cello, and string bass. During a typical school year, students will also explore the electric violin, electric viola, electric cello, electric bass, piano, and with a few students, the guitar and ukulele. Dr. Kusek holds a leadership role at the school as an active member of the Building Leadership Team and is the Master of Ceremonies for all pep assemblies. Additionally, he has performed with various church worship bands around Kansas City and served as the Music Director and Conductor for Les Miserables: School Edition for the Theatre in the Park in Shawnee, KS.
